WOOD COUNTY ARES BULLETIN NR 21.27 DATE: July 4, 2021
SUBJECT: IT'S OVER, BUT
The annual Field Day this year has been over for a week, but there is still a lot to be done. The reporting paper work is only part of the event. How many things did you notice that could have been done better? Did you have everything, or enough of everything that you needed? Now is the time to start working on next years Field Day.
Emergencies and disaster don't only happen Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. The next emergency or disaster you might be involved in might be tomorrow at 2 am in the morning. Do you think you have everything that you need? Don't wait until tomorrow to start getting things together that you were short of. What you need in an emergency or disaster might just be a little thing, but without, you may not get the job done.
Think about what you could have used during Field Day and get it ready for the next time. While things are slow and peaceful, start finding, or putting together, anything you needed, so you'll have it the event. The next time it may be something else that you need, and won't have. That is what Field Day can be used for.
