WOOD COUNTY ARES BULLETIN NR 18.40 DATE: October 7, 2018
SUBJECT: USE YOUR SPARE TIME
How much spare time do you have? If you think about it, you have a lot of spare time. Do you just sit and watch TV because you don't think you have anything else to do? While working on one project you may be thinking of something else.
If you have an activity coming up, even if it's a long time off, you could be working on it. If you wait for the last minute, you'll find there is something else that needs to be done. It seems like there is always those last-minute jobs that you must rush to get done. You know what happens when you rush to get something done, you make mistakes.
While you're sitting watching TV, think about what you must do for the next event. If you don't get up to work on it right then, make a note of it so you can start working on it as soon as possible. While you're working on one project, think about what else may need to be done.
The further ahead of an event you get started, the less rushed you will be, the less stressed and tired you will be, and the event will be more enjoyable.
