WOOD COUNTY ARES BULLETIN NR 18.38 DATE: September 23, 2018
SUBJECT: ACTING ON IDEAS
When you are participating in some kind of event, or just driving down the road, do you get an idea, or a plan for something? Do you make a note of it, so you don't forget? I'd be afraid of how many ideas I've came up with, only to forget what they were because I thought I could remember. Somewhere I've heard it said that "the shorted pencil is longer than the longest memory". At your first convenient time, write down the idea or plan so it won't get away.
Once you get started on your idea or plan, it will be right in front of you, and you'll be on your way. And, if you don't work on the plan or idea for awhile, it will still be there waiting for you. It may get in your way once in awhile, but you won't forget it. This bulletin was one of those ideas. Since I was driving, I had my wife make a note of it. I thought about it a couple weeks ago, and I'm just getting around to writing it, but it wasn't forgotten, I was just a little slow acting on it.
