If you have an idea that may benefit the organization, then let them know.
Don't go to a meeting with negative ideas, you may be asked to leave. Most meeting are for the good of the organization and the community, and you may be able to help. If you have an idea that you think may benefit the meeting, and the group, ask if it can be brought up. Be sure to let the group know who you are and why you are there. The idea you have may have been brought up and tried before, so don't get long winded until you found out what the group thinks. The idea may have been tried before and didn't work.
Don't feel bad if the group doesn't like your idea, but keep it in mind, there may be another way to make it work. Don't forget, if you have an idea the group likes and think it may work, you may be the one who is put in charge of it.
