WOOD COUNTY EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS INC.
WOOD COUNTY ARES BULLETIN NR 17.43 DATE: October 22, 2017
SUBJECT: WHY HAVE ARES BULLETINS
The main objective in writing bulletins for our local and District 3 ARES Amateurs is to aid in training and/or relay valuable information to those volunteers. Many of these bulletins contain information which could be used day to day, while some pertain to emergency operation or disaster relief only.
You may find some bulletins of no use to you, while another Amateur may find that same bulletin valuable to his station or operation. In any case, if an Amateur learns one thing from a bulletin, it has served its purpose.
WCEC is always open to input from all of our WCEC members, ARES volunteers, and all Amateurs in general, concerning information for bulletins, and even encourage any of you to put this information to words so that it can be published as a bulletin. If you write the bulletin or, have an idea for a bulletin you'll be sure to receive recognition for your information and/or writings.
We can all benefit from these weekly ARES bulletins. The benefits might make us better communicators and better Amateur Radio operators. This is why we produce the weekly Zone 3 ARES Bulletins. Let’s hear from you.
