SUBJECT: HAVE YOU RESTOCKED YOUR SUPPLIES?
Did you use most of your emergency supplies during the last major event when there was a power outage? You may say that you have time to get everything ready before the next one, and you may be right. On the other hand the next one might happen tomorrow.
You need to start getting ready for the next major event so you won't be shorthanded. Was there something that you needed, but didn't have when you needed it. With winter on our doorsteps you need to make sure your have all the supplies you need.
During the last major power outage there were reports that people didn't have a battery powered broadcast radio to hear where help may have been available. If you had a battery powered radio, did you have batteries for it?
Some of the emergency officials talked about broadcasting information every four hours, so those with a broadcast radio could get the information. There is a lot of planning for the next severe event. You need to do the same.
