WOOD COUNTY BULLETIN NR 14.23           DATE: June 8, 2014
SUBJECT: BEHIND THE SCENE

Most organizations have activities that most of their members never see.  A lot of their members just assume that it happens, and never gives it much thought.  If they were look at what is getting done, maybe they would want to help, and then on the other hand maybe they wouldn't.

If you are a member of an organization that is very active, you should at least try to help.  A lot of members, of a lot of organizations, just want to be members so they can tell others they are a member of an active organization, even though they do little, or nothing to help the organization stay active.  It's been said many times that only about 10 percent of the members do 90 percent of the work.

There is a lot of work that goes on behind the scene that needs help.  As a member of an active organization, you should help do your part.  If your aren't physically able to do hard work, there's always something you can do to let the ones who are able to work, have a break.  Do your share of the work so you can truthfully say you an active member of an active organization.
