WOOD COUNTY BULLETIN NR 14.15           DATE: April 13, 2014
SUBJECT: DON'T QUIT, IMPROVISE

How many times have you started to work on something, or had to do something that requires you to have a special tool?  Then when you got stated on the project, you found that you didn't have what you needed.
Did you decide to put that project aside and work on something else?  What happens if you can't put that project aside, what do you do?  In disasters and emergencies, you can't always come up with what you need, so you have to improvise.  The job may not go as easy, or well, as you hoped, but you may be able to get it done anyway.

So the next time you find you can't do things like you would like, stop a minute and think what you can do to get the job done. Things don't always go the way you plan.  Sometimes you just have to work around them.  You will find this out more when you are helping with disasters and emergencies, and you have to use whatever you can get your hands on.

So don't just quit, improvise.
