SUBJECT: NOT EVERYBODY GETS THE WORD
How many times have you tried to call someone on the telephone or sent a message to someone's E-Mail, only to find they are no longer any good?
It's hard to inform everyone that something has changed, and let them know what the change is. Even if you think you have informed everyone, someone will not get the word. It may be someone who you haven't heard from in a long time, but just as soon as you make a change, they will be the first to find out they can no longer get a hold of you.
If a radio system becomes inoperative you may the first to find out, but don't have any idea why it doesn't work. It could be a power failure, a lightening hit, or it has just been taken off the air for lack of interest.
If you have control of something that you want to change, or do away with, let as many people as possible know. Maybe the word will get spread around enough, that it won't be a shock to find out that it's no longer in operation.
