WOOD COUNTY BULLETIN NR 13.37 DATE: September 15, 2013 SUBJECT: LET THEM DO THEIR JOB

When you have people available that can do a job, let them do it. You can tell in a moments notice if someone knows what they are doing. If they jump right in and make things work that you have been stumbling with, take advantage of that skill.

Those in charge should be able to recognize the ability of someone who knows what they are able to do. Don't try to undermine what they are doing. If they seem to know what to do, but could use another hand, give it to them. Just because you may be the one who's in charge, doesn't mean that you know or can do everything.

By letting those who know what they are doing, do their job, will make your team a lot better. Don't feel bad if they can do the job a lot better, just feel grateful that you have them on your team.
