SUBJECT: TRIPLE CHECK YOUR EQUIPMENT

A lesson learned a few years ago should be a reminder to everyone.  After working two days getting all of the equipment together for a Packet Radio Class, I still forgot something.  I had all the Radios, Computers, Terminal NODE Controllers, associated cables, overhead projector, and other equipment needed to teach the class, but I forgot a very important item.  I didn't have the overhead slides for the presentation.

I did however have some paper copies which I had used to make the overhead slides, so we were able to make copies of them to do the presentation, and pass out to the students.  It worked, but not near as well.

It did bring up an idea to have good hard copies of the overhead slides so the students would be able to make reference to, after the class is over.  Just be sure you think you're got everything ready for a project, check, double check, then triple check what you need.  It's a good thing to have is a check-off list that you can use as a reference.
