WV ARES BULLETIN NR 10.17 DATE: April 25, 2010
SUBJECT: IF NOT BROKE, DON'T FIX IT
How many times have you got a new toy and wanted to see what makes it work? It's only human nature to want to see what makes something tick, but you may not have your new toy to play with if you do.
If you have the idea that you can make something work a little better, or have more power, be sure that you are smarter, and have better equipment than those who built or designed the toy, otherwise you may have to send it back to have it fixed.
If the toy was broken when you received it, and it doesn't have a warranty, and you think you can fix it, then that's ok, but if still has a warranty, and it don't work, send it back and DON'T BREAK THE SEAL, otherwise you may have to pay as much to get it fixed as what it cost when it was new. This is the same with anything that is working. If it's not broke, then leave it alone, and don't try to fix it.
