FROM: KEN HARRIS WA8LLM WV SECTION EMERGENCY COORDINATOR
WOOD COUNTY EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS INCORPORATED
WV ARES BULLETIN NR 08.40 DATE: October 5, 2008
SUBJECT: RECHECK YOUR RECORDS
From time-to-time your records should be checked to make sure they haven't been changed from the last time you used them. For instance, if you haven't called a particular telephone number for a long period of time, you might just call it to make sure that it still belongs to the same person, or that person is still doing the same job. While you're on the phone with them also check pager numbers, cellular numbers, fax numbers, E-Mail addresses, and any other important information that may have changed since the last time you talked to them. You may think it's kind of stupid to do, but information does change and not everyone gets the word. The time may come that you will need to use some of the information, but find that it's out of date, and time will be wasted looking up good information.
