ARES DISTRICT 3 BULLETIN NR 08.29       DATE: July 20, 2008
SUBJECT: KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE

As communications personnel there will be times when you may be asked to provide equipment that no one else has.  This equipment might be just about anything that you can think of, and some things that you might not.  The worst thing you can do when asked to provide something, is to say that you have it somewhere, and then not be able to find it.  If you want other organizations to know that you're organized and can provide some equipment when needed, you need to make an inventory of what you have available, and know where it's at.  This can sometimes be a job, but it may be worth the effort in a long run.  Your inventory may even come in handy for yourself to keep from wasting time when you need something.
