ARES DISTRICT 3 BULLETIN NR 08.27       DATE: July 6, 2008
SUBJECT: BRING IT TO THEIR ATTENTION

Don't make a big deal about it, but when you see or hear someone having a problem, they may not know they're having it, so you may want to let them know about it.  If you think that you may embarrass the person with the problem, call them on the telephone and explain what the problem is.  In any case don't just let the problem go unnoticed, it might cause bigger problems later.  If you're communicating with someone on the radio and they have a buzz or hum on their signal, casually make a mention of what you hear.  They may have already been told of the problem and are going to look into it.  On the other hand they may want more information about the problem and want to get it fixed right away.  In any case don't just ignore the problem, even though it may just go away.  Most people want to know if they are having a problem so they can get it fixed.
